Bamboo fabric is one of the softest natural fibres you'll find, often compared to cashmere or silk against the skin, but far more practical. It's naturally breathable and temperature-regulating, which means it keeps you cool in summer and warm in cooler months. It also has a beautiful natural drape that moves with your body rather than against it. If you've never worn bamboo before, expect to be converted quickly.

We recommend:

  • Machine wash cold, gentle cycle
  • Mild detergent - avoid bleach or fabric softener
  • Lay flat on a drying rack to dry - bamboo is naturally heavier when wet, so laying flat protects the shape. If hanging, wait until mostly dry first.
  • Iron on low if needed, or steam

Yes. Anne Mulaire is B-Corp certified - one of fewer than 10 fashion brands in Canada to hold this designation. B-Corp certification means we've been independently verified across five areas: environment, workers, community, customers, and governance. It's one of the highest standards a business can meet.

Oeko-Tex is an independent international certification that verifies our fabrics have been tested and are free from harmful substances - no toxic dyes, no chemical residues, nothing that shouldn't be against your skin. Every fabric we use meets this standard.

Our Zero Waste collection is made from fabric remnants and offcuts that would otherwise end up in landfill. Every piece in this collection gives new life to material left over from our main production runs. Limited quantities, made in Winnipeg, nothing wasted.

Every Anne Mulaire piece is designed and manufactured in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Treaty One territory. We are vertically integrated, which means we control the full production process, from fabric selection to finished garment, right here in Canada.

We work primarily with bamboo, organic cotton, and Canadian-milled materials - all chosen for their softness, durability, and lower environmental impact. All fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified.

The Resale Market is our take-back program that gives pre-owned Anne Mulaire and VOILÀ pieces a second life. Each item is carefully inspected before being listed, so you're getting quality pieces at accessible prices, with the same craftsmanship you'd expect from us. It's circular fashion, made practical.

Shop the Resale Market →

It's a simple four-step process:

  1. Fill out the Resale form - download it here and complete it before sending your items.
  2. Bring in or mail your garments to our Winnipeg boutique.
  3. We inspect and process your items - you'll be notified once they've been reviewed.
  4. Receive up to $25 store credit per garment accepted, issued as a gift card.

Items must be freshly washed, ironed or steamed, and free of pet hair. We accept pieces that are free from rips, holes, stains, major pilling, and material sagging. Damaged clothing cannot be accepted.
