MJ Dandeneau is a French-Anishinaabe / Métis artist from Treaty 1 Territory (Winnipeg, Manitoba). An award-winning bassist, composer, and producer, she has toured internationally and is widely respected for her contributions to Indigenous music and the arts. When she is not on stage or in studio, MJ returns to another form of storytelling, beadwork, carrying forward tradition through patience, precision, and cultural pride.
