The closure of Mara Hoffman, a pioneer in sustainable fashion, further underscores the challenges facing these ethical brands 

The Struggle for Sustainability

The slow fashion movement emerged as a response to the excesses of fast fashion, promoting thoughtful consumption and ethical production practices.
